Search Analytics
Your real Google Search Console data — clicks, impressions, CTR and position by query, page and date.
Search Analytics shows your actual Google performance by connecting Google Search Console (GSC). This is measured first-party data, not modeled — the one place in AIEO.ee where the numbers come straight from Google.
Connecting GSC
- Settings → Sites → Connect Search Console.
- Authorize via Google OAuth (a one-time state guards the callback).
- Choose the property (site) to import — the connection is per project.
- Confirm. AIEO.ee stores the refresh token encrypted and starts syncing.
Sync behavior:
- pulls site totals by day, plus detail rows by query + day and by page + day (paged at 1,000 rows, up to GSC's 25,000-row cap per dimension),
- re-pulls the last 3 days each run so late-arriving GSC data settles,
- tracks a
last_synced_daycursor that advances only after a run completes successfully — a failed run leaves the cursor where it was, so the next run re-imports the same window, - runs daily on a schedule (default 05:20 UTC) and can be triggered manually with Sync now.
The connection requires an org owner/admin to set up; once connected, members can read the analytics.
What you see
- Summary — total clicks, impressions, average CTR, average position over the selected window, with trends.
- Rows — the granular table by query or page dimension (aggregated over the window): which searches bring clicks, which pages earn them. There is no per-date row view — day-by-day trends come from the summary series.
Why it matters alongside rank tracking
Rank tracking tells you your position; Search Console tells you the outcome — the clicks and impressions that position actually produced. The two together answer "did moving from #6 to #3 change anything?", because CTR is not linear across positions.
GSC data has Google's usual ~2–3 day reporting lag — that's why the sync re-pulls a 3-day window rather than trusting a single pass. Recent days may still fill in.
GSC is optional and independent of DataForSEO. See Data sources.
