Products and feeds
Keep a product catalog, draft a Google Merchant style feed, host it at a private address, and see static hints for agent checkout.
Technical SEO → Products and feeds is for shops. Everything is free; your plan sets how many products (100 free, 5,000 subscribed) and hosted feeds (1 free, 5 subscribed) a project keeps. Nothing is submitted for you: we never call a Merchant Center, Shopify or marketplace API.
Catalog
Add a product by hand, import a CSV or take products from the audit (pages that declare a Product with a priced offer in their structured data). A product is one row per id and target country. CSV import is all or nothing: one bad row returns the line and field and imports none. A cell never runs as a formula and a tab or newline in a cell never splits a column.
Each product shows what is missing for a feed (title, description, https link and image, price and currency, availability, valid GTIN and condition). A brand or identifier is advice only. After each audit the catalog is set beside what the product page declares, and price or availability that differ are listed.
Feed draft and hosted feeds
The draft follows the shape of Google's Merchant feed (tab-separated text or RSS 2.0) and is a draft: check it against the channel's current rules before submitting. Products with a required problem are left out and counted. The country list (US, GB, DE, FR, JP, CN) shows extra advice, not guarantees; the Merchant program does not serve China.
A hosted feed gives a channel an address it can fetch on a schedule. The address carries a secret token, shown once; only a hash is stored. It works like a password: anyone with it can read the feed. You can replace it (the old one stops working at once) or revoke it, and it expires after 180 days unless you replace it. Responses are private and not cached, carry no referrer and ask not to be indexed; each token is limited to 30 fetches a minute.
Hints for agent checkout
Static checks of what your product pages declare: a complete offer (price, currency, availability), a return policy with country and category, shipping details with a rate and a destination, and a product link that goes straight to the product. A check passes, is missing, or needs a person (a page the audit has not seen). Empty objects do not count.
We do not open a cart or a checkout. robots.txt does not block cart and checkout paths is the only thing said about checkout paths; login, payment and checkouts that need JavaScript or a session are always for you to confirm. This is not a test of any agent protocol and not a promise that an agent can buy from your shop.
