Backlinks

Your backlink profile and top linking domains — link equity at a glance.

SEO → Backlinks shows the link equity pointing at the project's domain.

What you see

  • Profile summary — total backlinks and referring domains, with the shape of the profile (a few strong domains vs many weak ones).
  • Top links / referring domains — the strongest links pointing at you, with anchor and target context.

Where the data comes from

The page reads the project's stored backlink profile. There is no live backlink provider wired in yet: in demo mode the profile is deterministic seed data (labeled as such); in a production install without seeded data the tables are empty until a backlink provider integration is added. A configured DataForSEO account today powers keyword/SERP data — not this page. See Data sources.

How to use it

Backlinks remain a core ranking input, and the profile summary answers two questions quickly:

  1. Do we have enough referring-domain diversity? Hundreds of links from three domains is a fragile profile.
  2. Where does our authority actually come from? The top-links list usually contains a handful of domains that carry most of the equity — protecting those relationships matters more than chasing ten new weak links.
  • Backlink Gap — domains linking to your competitors but not to you: a concrete link-building target list.
  • Domain Overview — the aggregate view of your tracked-keyword performance.

This page shows stored records, not a live crawl of the web: today that means demo-seeded data in demo mode and an empty profile in production until a backlink provider is wired in. Use the structure of the profile (domain diversity, where authority concentrates) rather than the absolute counts.
